Yosers' Behavior: Tutor Safety and Integrity

Here on Yo!, we expect everyone – both yosers and tutors – to behave respectfully during sessions. Our goal is always a positive and safe learning environment.

If a yoser ever acts inappropriately or makes a request that makes you uncomfortable, please know that we've got your back! Don't hesitate to reach out to our Tutor Support team, and we'll do everything we can to prevent it from happening again.

❗What kind of behavior is a no-go?

This includes, but isn't limited to:

• Being nude or in underwear

• Being disrespectful or hostile

• Abusive behavior towards animals, other people, or themselves

• Sexual harassment (like rude messages, inappropriate photos, or engaging in sexual activities during the session)

• Verbal harassment (being pushy, asking too many personal questions that make you feel embarrassed, making racist comments, bullying, slurring, etc.)

For most of these situations, we can easily verify what happened since we record both the audio and video of all sessions. If anything like this ever happens to you, please end the session via the 'End Lesson' button and contact our Tutor Support team as soon as the session is done (you have until 12 hours after the session to do it). We'll jump into action to investigate the matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to ensure your safety and the integrity of the platform.

Yo! empowers you to use the 'End Lesson' button in case of a very severe offense or inappropriate behavior from a yoser. This button is designed as a critical safety tool and should always be treated as a last resort. ➡️What Happens to Yosers Who Misbehave?

Complaints about yosers are treated seriously and on a case-by-case basis. Depending on how severe the situation is, a yoser might face consequences like being banned from booking you again, or even being suspended from the platform entirely. If we get repeated complaints about a single yoser, their account will be permanently closed. We're committed to making Yo! a respectful and safe place for everyone!
