To make sure every session on the Yo! platform is smooth and crystal-clear, your tech setup is key. Think of these as the minimum system requirements for everything to work perfectly for both you and the yoser.
Your Internet: A stable internet connection is a must. To ensure a high-quality video stream for our user base, we require a consistent download speed of at least 25 Mbps when tested against servers in São Paulo, Brazil. Not sure about your speed? Please check it using Speedtest.
Your Gear: A good-quality webcam and a headset with a microphone usually give the best results. Of course, you can also use your laptop's built-in camera and earphones. The main goal is that yosers can see and hear you crystal-clear. If that's happening, you're good to go!
It’s super important that you always keep your audio and video active during a session during a session (except if the yoser requests that you turn off your video). This not only ensures a crystal-clear connection but also helps make sure your entire session is properly recorded for yosers’ learning. If a Tech Glitch Happens: Tech problems can happen to anyone – they're part of the online world! If you experience a technical problem during one of your sessions, the main goal is to resume it as soon as possible and politely apologize to the yoser.
Heads-up! It's super important to know that if you remain disconnected from a session for specific periods of time (depending on the session length), it might get automatically canceled due to your absence. 💡What if there are complaints about your connection?
If we receive consistent user complaints about poor audio or video quality from your sessions, our support team will reach out to help you troubleshoot. To protect other yosers from having a bad experience, our system may temporarily pause your ability to receive new bookings until you can run a successful tech check with our team and confirm your setup meets these minimum standards.
