Performance Metrics: Your Overall Reliability

[MANDATORY PLATFORM STANDARD]

The Yo! platform tracks your Overall Cancellation Rate each pay cycle using this formula: (Reported + Cleared Reported + Unreported + Cleared Unreported) / Total Booked Sessions * 100.

💡Why do we have monthly reviews?

This is a standard practice to review performance over a closed period (the pay cycle). The measures below are not for a single mistake, but a consequence for failing to meet the minimum reliability standards over a full month. It ensures that the marketplace starts a new cycle with its most reliable partners fully available, which protects the trust and reputation of the Yo! platform for everyone.

We observe this rate monthly and the following rules apply:

  • Above 3% Overall Rate: If your rate is above 3% at the end of a pay cycle, you will no longer be eligible for any incentives or bonuses for that period, even if you otherwise qualified.

  • Reliability Thresholds: If your account crosses the following thresholds, it does not meet the platform's minimum reliability standards:

    • If your Overall Cancellation Rate is 5% or more: This triggers a 7-day booking cooldown at the start of the next pay cycle and the system will issue a Formal Notice.

    • Regardless of the overall rate, if your Unreported Cancellation Rate is 25% or more of your total cancellations: This also triggers a 7-day booking cooldown at the start of the next pay cycle and the system will issue a Formal Notice.

Important: These two conditions are assessed independently. If your account crosses both thresholds in the same pay cycle, the two 7-day cooldowns will run consecutively (14 days total), and two separate Formal Notices will be issued.

Example: A tutor has 250 booked sessions and 10 cancellations (7 Reported, 3 Unreported).

  • Their Overall Rate is 4.00% ((7+3)/250*100= 4.00%). Falls within the threshold of 5%, so no 7-day cooldown or Formal Notice for this reason. But loses incentives and bonuses because crosses the 3% threshold.

  • Their Unreported Rate is 30% (3/10*100= 30%) of total cancellations. Falls beyond the 25% threshold, which triggers a 7-day cooldown and a Formal Notice.

Repeated Issues: Receiving multiple Formal Notices within a rolling 6-month period demonstrates a consistent failure to meet the platform's standards and may lead to a permanent deactivation of your account. (Check the Account Review & Platform Standards Enforcement policy for more information on Formal Notices and account consequences).
