Incentives: The Yoser Conversion Bonus

Trial sessions are incredibly important—they're the best opportunity to impress a new yoser. As a tutor, you play a crucial role in their decision to choose Yo! as their solution for truly learning to speak English. With that in mind, we've created the Yoser Conversion Bonus to reward you directly for that success.

To understand the bonus, it's important to know how trial sessions operate on our platform:

• Every new yoser receives one Trial Ticket for their very first session.

• By default, a Trial Ticket is for a 25-minute (1 slot) session.

• A yoser can only book a 50-minute trial session if they have another available ticket (like a purchased PAY!G ticket or a courtesy ticket from Yo!) to combine with their Trial Ticket.

When an eligible yoser subscribes to the Yo! Plan after their trial with you, you receive a bonus equal to double the base fee of one (1) standard slot.

Important: This bonus is tied specifically to the yoser's single Trial Ticket. This means that even if the trial session lasted 50 minutes, the conversion bonus is always a fixed amount equivalent to one extra paid slot.

To be eligible for the bonus, the conversion must meet these specific conditions:

1. The yoser must subscribe to the Yo! Plan for the first time after their trial session with you.

2. It must have been the yoser's very first and only session ever on the Yo! platform.

3. There is no time limit for the conversion. As long as the conditions above are met, you will receive the bonus whether the yoser subscribes the next day or six months later.

❗Why the "first and only session ever" rule? It’s a matter of fairness. If a yoser interacts with other tutors before subscribing, it becomes difficult to determine which tutor had the final influence on their decision.

To make it easy for you to know when you have an opportunity to earn this bonus, the platform gives you clear signals:

• First, always check for the "Trial Session" alert on the Session Page. You will only see it if the session is, in fact, a trial.
  
  

• Next, check the yoser's tag. To be eligible for the bonus, they should have the pink "PAY!G" tag. This stands for "Pay As Yo! Go" and means they are not a Yo! Plan subscriber yet.
  
  

• In some rare cases, a yoser might have already subscribed to the Yo! Plan even before using their trial ticket. You can identify this if you see the pink "Y!P" tag on their data. If you see the "Y!P" tag, that trial session is not eligible for this specific bonus.

Please remember, as detailed in our Performance Metrics: Your Overall Reliability policy, maintaining a low Overall Cancellation Rate is key. To be eligible for this bonus, your Overall Cancellation Rate for the pay cycle must not be above 3%.
