💡 Why We Offer This Incentive


Just like ride-sharing apps offer bonuses to drivers during peak hours to ensure passengers can find a car, we offer this incentive to ensure new yosers can always find available tutors when they first join. It's a standard marketplace tool to help balance supply and demand. Participation is always a business decision for you.


The Offer: A Bonus for Your Commitment


If you choose to participate and meet the eligibility criteria below, Yo! offers a special "top-up" bonus to ensure your total earnings are no less than the equivalent value of 100 conducted slots for your first 30-day period.

Think of it as a safety net: if you have a slow start with bookings but kept your schedule open for yosers, we'll "top up" your earnings to ensure your commitment is rewarded. If you open more than 200 slots, the guaranteed minimum payment remains equivalent to 100 slots.


How to Qualify (Eligibility Criteria)


You become eligible for this one-time offer by meeting all of the following goals within your first 30 days (starting from your account activation date):


1. Availability Target: 

Open at least 200 slots on your schedule. This requirement is structured to encourage consistent availability, especially in your first couple of weeks:

  • You must have at least 70 slots available per week during your first two weeks.

  • Within those weeks, you must have at least 10 slots available on 5 different days of the week.

  • Didactic Examples for Availability: The target is flexible and can be met in many ways. Here are a couple of distinct examples showing the full 30-day picture:


🌟Example 1: The "Focused Weekdays" Schedule

  • Weeks 1 & 2: You could open 14 slots per day from Monday to Friday. This gives you exactly 70 slots per week, spread across 5 days.

  • After two weeks, you would have opened 140 slots, meeting the initial requirements perfectly.

  • For the rest of your 30-day period (roughly two more weeks), you would only need to open 60 more slots to reach the 200-slot goal. For these remaining 60 slots, there are no daily or weekly minimums—you can open them however best fits your schedule.

🌟Example 2: The "Flexible / Weekend" Schedule

  • Weeks 1 & 2: You could open 10 slots each day on Wednesday and Thursday, 20 slots on Friday, and 15 slots each on Saturday and Sunday. This also adds up to 70 slots over 5 days.

  • After two weeks, you would have opened 140 slots.

  • Again, this leaves you with only 60 more slots to open with total flexibility over the remainder of the 30-day period to qualify for the incentive.


Remember, these numbers are just the minimum target to qualify for this special, one-time welcome bonus. You are always free to open as many slots as your schedule allows. After all, as an independent professional on our platform, the more sessions you successfully conduct, the more you earn!

2. Reliability Target:

  • Maintain an Overall Cancellation Rate of 3% or less (this counts Reported Cancellations only for the purpose of this specific incentive).

  • Have zero Unreported Cancellations (tutor No-Shows).

How the Payment Works: All the Details


🌟The "Top-Up" Mechanics (Example):

Let's imagine a new tutor, Maria, participates in the offer and meets all the eligibility targets.

  • During her first 30 days, she conducts 60 successful slots and has 5 yoser No-Shows.

  • In total, she has 65 paid slots (since yoser No-Shows count as conducted slots for payment).

  • The Incentive in Action: Because Maria qualified, Yo! will "top up" her payment. We add the value of 35 slots to her earnings, so she receives a total payment equivalent to 100 conducted slots.

  • What if Maria had conducted 110 sessions? Great! In that case, she would simply be paid for all 110 sessions. The incentive is a safety net, not a cap on your earnings.

  • Slot and Session Equivalence: Remember, payment is on a slot basis. A 25-minute session is one slot; a 50-minute session is two slots.

  • Payment Timing: This incentive applies only to your first 30 days. If this period crosses two pay cycles, the bonus (the "top-up" amount) will be calculated after the full 30 days are complete and paid out with the second pay cycle's payment.

  • Example: If your account is activated on November 21st, your 30-day incentive period ends on December 20th. Your payment for slots conducted from Nov 21-Dec 4 will be sent by Dec 15th. The final calculation and payment of the incentive itself would happen with the December pay cycle, sent by January 15th.


Eligibility Requirement


Please remember, as detailed in our Performance Metrics: Your Overall Reliability policy, maintaining a low Overall Cancellation Rate is key. To be eligible for this bonus, your Overall Cancellation Rate for the pay cycle must not be above 3%.
