Payment schedule and method

Important: Keep in mind that you get paid on a slot basis. The slot base fee is paid for every individual slot you conduct. The number of sessions you conduct during a pay cycle may differ from the number of slots because sessions can be 25 or 50 minutes long. Whenever we use the term “session,” if it's a 25-minute one, we're talking about one slot; if it's a 50-minute one, we're talking about two slots. 

You will be paid once a month for the slots you have conducted between the 5th day of the respective month and the 4th day of the following month (referred to as the pay cycle). The payment will be sent by the 15th day of the following month at the latest.

For example, the payment for your slots conducted from May 5th to June 4th will be sent by June 15th.

If you are a new tutor, please provide us with your Payoneer account information as soon as possible so that we can update our records and send you your first payment on time.

After the end of each pay cycle, from midnight on the 6th of every month, if you conducted at least one slot within the cut-off dates, you will see the payment breakdown on your dashboard (Income tab), which includes a breakdown of all your conducted slots and incentives/bonuses (if you are eligible for them).

For us to be able to send you payment, you need to validate the payment breakdown and generate your invoice. You have up to 3 full days after the payment breakdown is available to do that, so you have until 11:59 PM on the 8th to generate your invoice. If you don't do it by then, we can't guarantee you'll receive payment by the 15th of the month. In that case, it may be processed the following month, accrued with the respective pay cycle's payment, provided you meet the given deadline. We need your invoice as soon as possible to ensure we have enough time to process payments for all tutors.

We exclusively pay our tutors via Payoneer, and for now, we do not support other payment methods. You do not have to order a Payoneer card in order to use the account and withdraw money - you may transfer your earnings to your local bank account (exchange rate and transfer fees may apply). For the payment to be processed, you must conduct at least 20 slots during the pay cycle. If not, you will receive this payment the following month (or whenever you have accumulated at least 20 conducted slots).
