Your reputation is your most valuable asset in the Yo! marketplace. Our rating system is designed to be a transparent and fair way for yosers to share their feedback, helping you build your reputation and helping other yosers choose the right tutor for them.
After each session, a yoser has up to 72 hours to leave a rating. The options are:
Thumbs up - a positive evaluation
OK - a neutral evaluation
Thumbs down - a negative evaluation
Yosers can also leave a written comment. To keep things fresh, your public profile will always display your 20 most recent comments, along with the yoser's name, photo, and the month of the rating.

Your "Yo! Rate" is the key metric shown on your profile (e.g., “97% positive”). Here's how the system calculates it:
It's based on the percentage of "Thumbs Up" ratings from your last 200 rated sessions.
The calculation happens in real time, but your public-facing score is updated once a week, on Sundays.
To ensure fairness, your Yo! Rate will only be published on your profile after you have received at least 200 ratings.
To ensure your public score is as fair as possible, some evaluations, while they can be submitted by the yoser, are automatically filtered out and do not count towards your "Yo! Rate" statistic. This happens in two specific cases:
Trial Sessions
Sessions ended by you using the 'End Lesson' button
In other cases, where a session ends due to a major technical or attendance failure, the option to rate the session is completely disabled for the yoser. This is to prevent unfair ratings resulting from issues that aren't related to teaching quality. This occurs when a session is automatically canceled because:
The tutor did not enter the Yo! Zone within 2 minutes of the start time (tutor No-Show).
The tutor did not remain connected for the minimum required time (at least 20 minutes for a 25-min session, or 40 minutes for a 50-min session).
The tutor remained disconnected from the Yo! Zone for 5+ consecutive minutes.
The Yoser did not enter the Yo! Zone within 10 minutes of the start time (yoser No-Show).
The Yoser remained disconnected for 10+ consecutive minutes.
